Olive Strachan is a renowned international speaker and will be delivering an informative presentation on how to access new markets in difficult times. Shaun Gomm is a specialist speaker on web design and social media, he will be explaining how to make the most of social media.

Olive is an award winning training consultant who has travelled the world to deliver her unique brand of training. Olive Strachan Resources are based in Manchester and have delivered workshops and courses to the likes of John Lewis, Astra Zeneca and The British Council. Focusing on communication, negotiation and emotional intelligence Olive is a much respected and sought after motivational speaker. An acknowledged expert on leadership, having delivered courses such as ‘Liberating leadership’, Olive’s talks are fun, inspiring and practical.
Shaun Gomm – Sigma Consulting Solutions
‘How to get started with social media for businesses’
Shaun is the Business Development Manager at Sigma Consulting Solutions. Sigma is a web design company based in Macclesfield who focus on user experience and social media strategy. Shaun has run seminars for companies on ‘putting your users at the heart of your online strategy’ and offers training and user sessions on topics such as writing for the web, social media, and user testing. Sigma are the UK based arm of a much larger Swedish IT company who employ over 1,200 employees worldwide.

The event will take place on Wednesday 13 October . With registration and breakfast taking place at 7.30am. The event should conclude by 9.00am.
