UKBI 11th Conference, Belfast - 1 - 3 December 09
UKBI are pleased to announce that their 11th International conference will take place in Belfast from 1st - 3rd December. Building on the success of BI:10 in Bristol the conference will offer something for everyone regardless of your level of experience. With interactive workshops, incubator tours, plenary sessions roundtable discussions and our prestigious international gala dinner there are lots of opportunities for you to learn!
"Belfast, Ireland’s second largest city after Capital City Dublin, takes its name from the River Farset which flows into the River Lagan at Donegall Quay. In Gaelic, Beál Feirste, means ‘Mouth of the Farset’. In recent years Belfast has been awarded the accolade of being the safest city in the UK and also best in the UK for a City break.
Belfast, the birthplace of the Titanic, is a city steeped in culture with attractions like the Titanic Quarter, Ulster Museum, City Hall, Odyssey and Waterfront Hall all well worth a visit.
At night, visitors can dine at numerous gourmet restaurants, enjoy a Guinness at a traditional Irish pubs, sip a cocktail in one of the city’s many stylish bars or perhaps enjoy a west end production at the Grand Opera House."
