UMIC Charity Christmas Fair
Christmas is coming and so is the UMIC Charity Christmas Fair!
Join us for an afternoon of festive fun, food, drink and Christmas shopping in Hickman’s Restaurant in the Bioscience Incubator building on Thursday 17 December.
Our first Charity Christmas Fair will be open to UMIC tenants, University staff and the general public, offering a great range of gift and craft stalls with plenty of opportunities to pick up some last minute Christmas presents, or treats for yourself. Enjoy mulled wine and a mince pie while you browse all the goodies on offer, try your luck in the raffle or have a go at the lucky dip.
If you know any Manchester United fans then we have something very special up for offer in our silent auction. Place your bid for a Manchester United Shirt signed by all members of the Premier League-winning 2008/09 team including Christian Ronaldo, framed and with a certificate of authenticity. Donated by Alex Ferguson's office this really is an amazing piece of memorabilia guaranteed to make a dedicated fan very happy, so don’t miss out on your chance to take it home!
The UMIC Charity Christmas Fair is the perfect opportunity to get yourself into the Christmas spirit while raising money for some fantastic causes. Our adopted charities for 2009/10 are the British Heart Foundation and the Christie and our goal is to raise a minimum of £5,000 by the end of 2010 with a programme of events and fundraising activities throughout the year.
