CSI, Manchester Style!
UMIC tenant, SRi Forensics recently made full use of the fantastic
event facilities on offer right on their doorstep.
Having been awarded the contract to provide the Crown Prosecution Service with evidential presentation services in England and Wales, SRi Forensics welcomed CPS staff to a conference at the Core Technology Facility.
Torrential Manchester downpours weren’t enough to deter the delegates who came from across the country to be educated about the innovative methods created by SRi Forensics to effectively communicate complex evidence whilst making cost savings of approximately 33% to the judicial process. Great use was made of the integrated AV facilities in the Egg conference room to give demonstrations of SRI Forensics work on high profile cases along with a presentation showing the numerous benefits and research showing increased juror information retention.
Positive feedback and a lively Q&A session proved the event was warmly received, with many favourable comments about the venue, and SRi Forensics is already seeing the value of educating CPS professionals in achieving their ultimate aim of a digital courtroom.
