Being innovative about innovation

One of Broadstone Mill’s latest tenants wants to cut through the concept of information overload and in the process become the UK market leader in the provision of bespoke innovation intelligence.

Through its magazine titles Building & Innovation (construction), Frontiers Review (energy) and The Pioneer (knowledge economy), Finite Communications offer traditional print and digital advertising  solutions to businesses but supported by packages of innovation-focused data, targeted specifically to an individual or organisational need.

Managing Director Anthony Woodburn explained: “While we fully expect our magazines to quickly become must-read titles in their respective sectors, what we offer is quite different to other publishing houses.  Our focus on innovation means we can offer tailored intelligence to businesses that is going to be, above all else, relevant to their needs.”

Finite is planning to utilise some of the latest data capture technologies currently being developed at the University of Manchester.
