Gentronix expands genotoxicity services

 

The Comet assay service from Gentronix Ltd offers the opportunity for early identification of compounds likely to exhibit genotoxic liability. This allows prioritization of compounds for development, saving time and money. Use to complement data from the ICH battery or to provide mechanistic insight into earlier results e.g. GreenScreen HC.

New data presented in Mutation Research
Excellent performance of GreenScreen HC against the ECVAM list of Chemicals

 As a follow up to an ECVAM workshop, an expert group compiled a list of recommended compounds for the evaluation of new and improved in vitro genotoxicity tests. 

From this 60 compound study we demonstrated that GreenScreen HC was 90% sensitive, 96% specific and had a concordance of 93%. Read the full paper at:
