Press Release October 2005

Protection Against the Elements That Fits In Your Pocket…ideal for

Skiers and Snowboarders alike!

Waiting around in the cold, wet and windy conditions found on most

mountains can be a very uncomfortable experience. When it’s time to go,

your body might not be in the best shape…cold muscles mean a poorer

performance which could be the difference between winning or losing.

The Ziggg™ range of personal environmental protection bags has been

launched to help all extreme sports enthusiasts survive the worst that

the weather can throw at them. For snowboarders, skiers, mountain

bikers, climbers, orienteerers, or anyone involved in extreme outdoor

pursuits, Ziggg™ is designed to give them the edge.

Instead of standing about in the cold, users (or even spectators) can

get into an innovative Ziggg™ bag and out of the weather until it’s

time to compete. Ziggg™ shelters and then tucks away until the next

time it’s needed as it can be used again and again.

Ziggg™ bags are made from light but strong waterproof material that

shrinks right down to fit a pocket, pouch or belt pack, but they open

out to an incredible 8 ft (2.5m) long! Ziggg™ can protect the tallest

user and has a silvery coating that will help reflect some of the

body’s heat and keep it where it’s needed. It even comes in two sizes:

Ziggg One, designed for single person-use and the Ziggg Biggg which is

made for two people to share the fun!

The Ziggg™ is made by Telutami Limited, a British company that has

recently launched what is believed to be the smallest and lightest

casualty evacuation system in the world. Managing Director and Ziggg™

designer Jon Price, is keen to see Ziggg™ used in all outdoors

environments for both participants and spectators, but not just in the

cold and wet. “Although Ziggg™ was originally designed to combat the

harshness of winter mountain and similar cold and wet environments, we

are already talking to a number of participants in other seasonal

events,” he said, at the launch of the Ziggg™. “We are delighted to

announce that we have already appointed our first UK distributor, Sea &

Sea Limited of Paignton, who will be looking after the diving, caving

and associated watersports sectors. We are now looking for companies in

different sectors who can help make Ziggg™ big! In the meantime, get

into a Ziggg™ while you wait to go down the mountain; get into a Ziggg™

on a multi-day sports event, but whatever you get into, get into a

Ziggg™!”

Ziggg™ is priced from £39.99 and will soon be available through the website, www.Ziggg.com, but in the meantime is available via mail order.

Ziggg™ is the unregistered trademark of Telutami Limited.
