Visit of Brian Gray, Lord Sainsbury, Sir Tom McKillop and Richard Lambert with Professor Alan Gilbert

The Incubator Building and Core Technology Facility construction site received some notable visitors on Monday, 21st February.

Firstly, Brian Gray, Chairman of the NWDA visited the Incubator Building for a guided tour and a meeting with representatives from Renovo, Epistem and DXS Ltd., three long-standing incubator tenants. Mr. Gray was able to see how the CTF will provide grow-on space for the current tenants of the Incubator as well as freeing up space for new tenants of the current incubator. Brian Gray also met with Professor Larry Gifford and Professor Ken Douglas, from the Department of Pharmacy and discussed their plans for a Medicines Institute and Medicinal Chemistry Steering group for the region. Professor Gilbert was also able to join in the latter part of discussions.
