Working closely with UMIC (www.umic.co.uk), one of the Knowledge Providers in the NWDA Innovation Voucher Scheme, D2M (Discovery 2 Medicine, www.discovery2medicine.com) provides high quality consultancy services to companies who are awarded an Innovation Voucher.
After being awarded a £3K voucher, Imagen Biotech selected D2M to work with them to complete a set piece of work aimed at exploring new assays which may have clinical application in the future. Following detailed literature reviews we were able to recommend a strategy for future studies to allow them to reach their final goal and move the project forward. Subsequently, Imagen Biotech received further funding in the form of a £7K Innovation Voucher to implement the strategy and at the time of writing, this particular project is progressing well.
The Innovation Voucher Scheme was a highly successful initiative that has and continues to build strong links between Industry and Academia.
