Since David’s appointment as UMIP Designer-in-Residence in 2010, he has been privileged to be at the heart of some very exciting technologies from within the University.
‘Clinic attendees are all so varied and many at very different stages of development, however the earlier researchers can come along the better. The service is free and confidential and open to researchers,spin-outs and anyone wishing to develop new IP. Individuals or development teams are welcome to hourly sessions, with many teams arranging several return visits. Issues ranging from proof of concept challenges to manufacturing and commercial advice are reviewed. It’s an exciting time at Manchester.’ says David.
