North West Innovation Network (NWIN) Biomedical Business Pitch Event, Tuesday 26 October 2010

Core Technology Facility
46 Grafton Street
MANCHESTER
M13 9NT

NWIN, UMIC, NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre, TrusTECH and BioNoW are delighted to announce that the next Biomedical Business Pitch Event will take place on Tuesday 26 October at the UMIC Core Technology Facility in Manchester.

This event will give you the opportunity to hear about the latest developments, technologies, innovations and services available from some of the leading companies in the North West.  It will help you to grow your business network, identify business development opportunities, source business expertise or services or find new opportunities for collaboration.

Following on from the successful event in June, we are delighted to announce that this event will be even bigger and better with the added benefit of a free pitching workshop where you can learn the techniques and skills to deliver a killer pitch!

The pitch workshop will be hosted by Winning Pitch, one of the North West’s fastest growing management consultancy practices.  They specialise in providing high calibre coaching, mentoring and consultancy support to high growth businesses.  The company has developed a series of methodologies aimed at high growth companies designed to unlock their full potential.

The pitch workshop will be followed by the pitching session which will give you the opportunity to put what you’ve learnt into practice.  The pitching session will give businesses the opportunity to deliver a 90 second ‘elevator pitch’ covering who they are, what they do, what they can offer and what they’re looking for.

The event will conclude with lunch and an opportunity for informal networking.  If you don’t want to take part in the pitch workshop or deliver a pitch yourself, then come along for the chance to identify new companies of interest to your business, build new links and source new business opportunities.

If you are one of the following, then make sure you book your place today:

  • Companies based in the North West of England
  • Developers of technology, products and expertise in the biomedical sector
  • Suppliers of technology or services to the biomedical sector
  • Users of products, technology & expertise from biomedical companies

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come basis so don’t miss out, register today.  Registration closes on 12 October 2010.
