Hi-Tech Business Unit

UMIC High-Tech Business Support

Incubator Services
Provision and facilities management of 18,000 ft sq of flexible space consisting of offices/research facilities from 120 ft sq to 1,200 ft sq. Available in a range of modular options for each stage of business growth.

License under 12 months – providing flexible easy-in, easy-out terms. Vital for when a business needs to grow. License can be rolled over into a larger unit, or alternatively, only one month’s notice required if needing to leave.

Lease over 12 months
– if a more secure tenancy is required for peace of mind. Leases available up to two years with qualifying incentives such as rental holidays.

Pay As You Grow – for companies that will need larger space in a short time due to sustained growth. UMIC can provide a ‘tailor made incentive’ on accessing larger offices based upon growth targets. This minimizes any interim moves required and so decreases disruption to the business during it’s critical growth phases.

The following facilities are available for tenants:

  • IT services are also provided by UMIC staff, including: IT planning, desktop support, software installation, compliance advice, and purchasing and supply advice.
