The UMIC Innovation Portal is dedicated to innovators who are looking to commercialise their ideas.
This portal provides a quick and simple method of submitting your business idea by using our Rapid Idea Evaluation tool. This questionnaire will take 10 to 20 minutes to complete and once submitted, you will receive a feedback report which will provide you with recommendations for your business plan. Should your proposal be successful, UMIC will invite you in to speak with one of its professionals.
This portal can be used to keep up to date with all our innovation news and events.
Furthermore, if you are a University of Manchester academic then this portal can also be used to enter our Low Carbon and Environment Competition.
Anyone can use the UMIC Innovation Portal. Regardless of whether you just have a simple idea, or fully fledged business plan, submit your idea using our Rapid Evaluation Tool.
We welcome applications from any entrepreneurs or academics. If you have a business idea that you wish to submit then click on “Have you got an idea”.
