33rd BioNow Network Evening
The 33rd Bionow Network Evening, is taking place on Tuesday 10 March at The Core Technology Facility, Grafton Street, Manchester. The event will start at 5.30pm with refreshments, and we aim to start the evenings presentation in ‘The Egg’ at 5.45pm.
We are delighted to have Dr Linda Magee, Biomedical Sector Director and Head of Bionow speaking, at what will be her last Network Evening for Bionow. We have entitled the evening, “It’s goodbye from me and it’s goodbye from her!”
Linda Magee is leaving the Northwest Development Agency (NWDA) during March 2009 to take up a new role as COO of the Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre (MAHSC). During her nine years at the Agency, Linda has worked effortlessly on many projects and helped numerous companies and individuals within the Northwest and the wider community. Through her joint role Linda is responsible for establishing Bionow and the NWDA Sector program and has contributed significantly in establishing the Northwest Biomedical cluster as one of the leading UK clusters. Linda will be sorely missed by her colleagues in Bionow and at NWDA and many others throughout the region. This event will provide an opportunity for Linda to review the development of the cluster, key milestones, people and the projects with which she has worked from the perspective of both sector director and cluster head.
After our speaker there will be a chance to network, which is always an excellent opportunity to meet up with new and existing colleagues, share knowledge and experiences and maybe also find new opportunities to development your business.
Refreshments and buffet will also be served, and we expect to close around 7.30pm.
