Detection and Identification of Infectious Diseases Workshop

NWDA is currently working with the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) to run a workshop exploring technologies currently under development within the area of the Detection and Identification of Infectious Diseases.

Once developed this is an area which will attract significant funding from the TSB and as such represents an opportunity for your business to be involved in its design and understand how to access potential funding. If you would like to attend the event please register at http://www.bionow.co.uk/bionow-events.html

The workshop will take place on 24th March 2009 from 10am to 3.30pm at the Village Hotel, Warrington (http://www.village-hotels.co.uk/hotels/Warrington/). The day will consist of a number of presentations from companies (see below) with technologies in this area identifying partnerships which would assist in their development. This will be followed by a presentation from the TSB identifying the development of a Technology Platform in this area and a discussion relating to the opportunities it will create.
